La coopérative Les Norkôtières brings women together on the Côte-Nord by organizing a variety of outdoor activities in a caring atmosphere without pressure to perform with the aim of enabling them to integrate, socialize, develop their confidence and autonomy, and discover our territory and it's benefits. An anchor and reference for women visiting or living on the Côte-Nord who are looking for social and varied outdoor activities focused on well-being.

Description

The role of the Outdoor Guide is to contribute to the development of our activity program by organizing and carrying out outdoor activities for women on the Côte-Nord, according to their aspirations and the needs of our community.

Responsibilities

• Create, accompany and supervise outdoor activities for women.
• Welcome women participating in activities in a caring and inclusive atmosphere.
• Ensure the safety and well-being of participants.
• Contribute to the implementation of a risk management and emergency measures plan.
• Ensure team training.
• Manage human, financial and material resources for organized activities.

  Requirements

• Outdoor experience and physical fitness;

• Driver's license;

• First aid in remote areas (Sirius 40h) or equivalent, or other outdoor training would be an asset;

• Versatile and open to performing other tasks for the good of the cooperative;
