Camping in the Mingan Archipelago, what a nice way to enjoy what the islands have to offer to the fullest. Imagine... after an exhilarating day of hiking with your loved ones during which you admired amazing landscapes and exceptional flora and fauna, you'll be able to relax over a great meal while admiring the sun set over the sea. Your night will be rocked by the sound of the waves and the blow of the whales.

If you possess your own equipment, you only need to choose the island of your dreams. Île Nue de Mingan, with its barren appearance, is perfect if you love birds and whales. If you're looking for remoteness, you could choose to camp on Grande Île, the latter being renowned for its impressive monoliths: the Château (castle), which looks right out of a fairy tale, and a “zoo” of ancient stone animals. To introduce yourself to the archipelago universe, île du Havre, which is located less than a mile from Havre-Saint-Pierre, is ideal. For family or group camping, île Quarry, with its numerous installations, its different habitats and its famous monoliths is recommended.  Finally, île Niapiskau has a lot of charm with its Sentier à Samuel that leads to Anse des Bonnes Femmes and to the famous Madame de Niapisca monolith.
