The Golfe-du-Saint-Laurent

The Gulf of St. Lawrence RCM is located in the North Shore region (09). Located at the eastern tip of the province of Quebec, the RCN extends between the Gulf of St. Lawrence and the border with Labrador. The Gulf of St. Lawrence RCM was established in 2010 and has a population of 5,126 in 2011. It's an incredible land we call Lower-North-Shore.

With a total area of 81.028 square kilometres (land area 40.819 square kilometres), it spans almost 375 kilometres along the Gulf of St. Lawrence and is made up of five municipalities and one unorganized territory (NWT): Blanc-Sablon, Bonne-Espérance, Côte-Nord-du-Golfe-du-Saint-Laurent, Gros-Mécatina, Saint-Augustin and the TNO Petit Mécatina.
