Description

Population 320
Near the village, archeological digs have revealed the presence of Europeans as early as the 16th century. A ferry service links Blanc-Sablon to Newfoundland year round, with daily sailings to St. Barbe from April to January and service to Corner Brook from January to April. Two kilometres to the east is the 57th meridian, which marks the eastern boundary between Québec and Labrador.
