Description
This vacation spot at the junction of the St. Lawrence and Manicouagan rivers boasts a long point of land where the tides sculpt immense sandbars. These endless beaches of fine, white sand are a perfect playground for families, and the 30 km are ideal for long, peaceful walks on the beach. The town is a paradise for wind sports and beach enthusiasts, outdoor lovers, sea kayakers and birdwatchers, and cyclists are sure to enjoy exploring the new bike path that goes to Pointe-aux-Outardes - and maybe spot some local birds or wildlife along the way. Remember to pack a container: in summer the abundant wild berries are ripe for the picking. Pointe-Lebel also has a campground, a bed and breakfast, and several restaurants.
