Description

Named in honour of William Henry Whiteley, the inventor of the cod trap, the Whiteley Museum in the village of Bonne-Espérance showcases artifacts, images and information on the history and culture.

In 2014, the museum opened a café on the premises to provide tourists and locals alike with a variety of high-quality, freshly-made food and beverages, free Internet access, and a boutique with crafts made by local artisans.
