Tourisme Côte-Nord promotes sites that allow you to do outdoor activities. Users are responsible for their own safety and for anyone else they are responsible for. Outdoor activities come with risks and it's the user's responsibility to make sure they respect what their physical limit is, as well as any regulations on site.
With its health centre and administrative offices, the village is the focal point for this part of the Lower North Shore. The natural seaport is still a fishing station, as can be seen by the fish sheds and boats along the rocky shore. On the cape overlooking the town stands a statue of Notre-Dame-de-Lourdes, entwined with a rosary, that travelled here all the way from France where it was made. In addition to this natural observation point, the ecology interpretation site is a must-visit attraction where visitors can observe whales, puffins, and icebergs.
