Description
The Anse-à-Norbert Nature Stop is one of the most beautiful sites in the Municipality of Colombier. Directly accessible via Route 138, it offers ample parking for all types of vehicles, as well as picnic tables and restrooms (during the summer). You can stay there for one night free of charge. The stop offers direct access to a magnificent and long beach which, particularly at low tide, offers the opportunity for a beautiful hike, including on the rocks along the river. You can also take a 2-kilometer hiking trail that begins at the top of a gravel road accessible by car from the stop parking lot. This trail overlooks Anse-à-Norbert and the river, and leads to a series of rocks located halfway to another beautiful site in the Municipality, Îlets-Jérémie. La Halte de l'Anse-à-Norbert: a site to visit and explore absolutely, including with your pets (on a leash).
