Description
The Galeries Montagnaises shopping centre is the largest Native-owned mall in Québec. This 185,000 square-foot business complex belongs to the Uashat mak Mani-Utenam Band Council and is conveniently located at the entrance to Sept-Îles at the intersection of Boulevard Laure and Boulevard des Montagnais. It houses over forty stores and businesses, including retail giants Wal-Mart and Maxi where shoppers can find great bargains. The building is both a great place to meet and shop and a symbol of Innu pride.
