Description

To access the entrance to the Trail, take the Chemin des Îlets-Jérémie from Route 138, to the back of the chapel: on the river side, you will find the entrance to a short trail winding through the boreal forest to a platform offering a beautiful panoramic view of the coastline, the granite rocks of Îlets-Jérémie and the surrounding flora and fauna. Adjacent to the trail is an Innu camp, recalling the thousand-year-old presence of the Innu on the site of Îlets-Jérémie which was, at the time of New France, one of the first fur trading sites, preceding Tadoussac.
