Description

Located between kilometer 1292 and kilometer 1294, the Quetachou River Trail begins directly east of the river of the same name. There is a parking lot on the north side of Route 138, and the trailhead, located on the south side of the road, is marked by a white sign and a red wooden structure. This easy hike is a 2-3 km loop. It leads to the impressive Quetachou River Falls and allows you to walk in the footsteps of the forest fire that nearly reached the village in 2013. Note that this area is excellent for blueberry picking during late August and early September!
