Description

To escape from everyday life, there's nothing better than a getaway to the Mingan Archipelago National Park Reserve. Bring warm clothes, put on good walking shoes and go hiking. Don't forget your binoculars, your water bottle and your camera.

You can hike on nine islands. The length, type and duration of the trails vary. Wooden trails are available on île Quarry and île Niapiskau. A marked trail that takes you through different habitats is also available on île Niapiskau. Hiking is possible on the seashore of île du Fantôme, Grosse île au Marteau, Grande Île, île Nue de Mingan and île Quarry. Short trails will lead you to the lighthouse stations of Petite île au Marteau and île aux Perroquets. Whether it is by the sea or in the heart of the boreal forest, cliffs, sea birds, colorful flowers, barrens and peat bogs decorate the Mingan Archipelago.
