Description

This walk passes through the heart of the village of Les Escoumins. It begins with one of the four thematic islets informing the walker about the natural environment and the history of the municipality. You then take a footbridge over the Escoumins River, from where you can see salmon, and you reach a belvedere offering a view of the bay. We then go to Pointe de la Croix, where we can see whales and migratory birds. There is a fresco in a passage under Route 138. This is the site of an old dike. Dogs on a leash are welcome.
